Ichiga nikyo (One painting, two surprises)

This is a story-like piece in which a single picture, created by layering various types of paper, changes into two different expressions depending on how the light hits it.

Moving Picture Book Theater

This video work, like a picture book reading, combines gentle songs and music with moving light paper cutouts. It is a heartwarming story about a little bird coming to terms with its own unique "shape of the heart." Enjoy it in a mini theater that recreates a night forest.
