The "House of the Great Thief," which has been touring Tokyo and other parts of Japan, has finally arrived in Ehime!

Thieves have been depicted in countless stories throughout history and across cultures. Why are people so drawn to thieves—as superhuman beings, mysterious heroes, or sometimes clumsy and endearing figures?

This exhibition puts you, the visitor, in the spotlight! It's an interactive exhibition where you sneak into the house of the famous "Great Thief" while he's away.

As you explore the rooms displaying works by Shuntaro Tanikawa, Shinsuke Yoshitake, and other artists, as well as pieces from the Ehime Prefectural Museum's collection, you'll discover... who exactly is this Great Thief?
